Personal Data Policy
When you purchase a ticket, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. Your data is stored securely on our own platform and is used solely to notify you of event changes or other necessary communications. In accordance with Danish law, ticket data is retained for five years after the event. You may request deletion by emailing us at klk@bachatacopenhagen.dk. Email correspondence with us may be stored for up to five years.
Cookies
Our website uses functional and statistical cookies to improve user experience and understand visitor trends. You can delete or limit cookies via the cookie banner on the site, or through your browser settings.
Right of Cancellation / Withdrawal
After making a purchase, your registration is binding and cannot be refunded or transferred to a different date. Tickets may be transferred to another person at the ticket holder’s own risk. If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund (excluding any platform and card fees), unless the cancellation is due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure).
Event Changes
We reserve the right to change dates, content, and instructors due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances. Registered participants will be notified as soon as possible.
Private Lessons
Cancellations or rebooking of private lessons require at least 24 hours’ notice. No-shows or late cancellations (under 24 hours) incur a cancellation fee of 300 DKK, payable by invoice. Private lesson pricing: 700 DKK for 1×60 min (2 people), 2,200 DKK for 4×60 min (2 people).
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase (or as agreed in writing). A 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the date of purchase; after this period, certificates cannot be exchanged for cash. Certificates are non-transferable and non-replaceable if lost or damaged.
Responsibility / Liability
Participation in our events, workshops, and classes is entirely at your own risk. Participants must be in appropriate physical health to attend. Bachata Dominicana Copenhagen accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage sustained during our activities.
Reservations for Errors
We reserve the right to correct printing or pricing errors. Cancellations or modifications resulting from force majeure (such as illness or venue closure) are beyond our control and do not entitle participants to compensation beyond any ticket refund.
Photography and Video
By attending our events you consent to photographs and video recordings being taken and used for promotional purposes on our website, social media, and other digital and print platforms. If you do not wish to appear in specific content, please contact us at klk@bachatacopenhagen.dk and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Discount Codes
Discount codes are non-transferable and may be single-use unless otherwise stated. Codes cannot be combined with other offers. We reserve the right to withdraw any discount code at any time. A 10% discount is available for students (valid student ID required) and travellers visiting Copenhagen — please contact us before purchasing to receive a code.
Online Ticket Purchases
Tickets purchased through our website are processed via our own platform. Your name, email, and phone number are stored encrypted. By completing a purchase you agree to our Privacy Policy. For payment disputes or refund requests, contact us at klk@bachatacopenhagen.dk.
User Accounts
Creating an account is optional. Account data (name, email, preferences) is retained until you request deletion. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
