Special workshop: Bachata Dominicana

Dive into the traditional style of Bachata as it is danced in the Dominican Republic! For the last special workshop of the season, we have teamed up with Mette, the heart behind Bachata Dominicana Copenhagen. 

Mette brings a deeply rooted and culturally respectful approach to teaching traditional Bachata, and in her workshop, dancers are invited to explore not just movement, but also connection – to the music, their partners, and themselves. 

Through Mette’s focus on social dancing, musicality, and personal expression, you’ll get the chance to build confidence, develop your own style, and truly understand the cultural context of the dance. Her teaching is grounded, playful, and inclusive – welcoming dancers of all backgrounds to learn, grow, and enjoy the richness of Dominican dance traditions.
